Freedom Programme

Woman Jumping Beach

I am a trained Freedom Programme facilitator, delivering a course designed to support women who have experienced domestic abuse. This work is deeply important to me. The Freedom Programme helps women understand the patterns and behaviours within abusive relationships, recognise red flags, and begin rebuilding confidence, clarity and self-worth.

At its heart, the programme is about education and empowerment. It creates a safe, non-judgemental space where women can learn, reflect and make sense of their experiences in their own time.

In my wider work, I believe strongly in the power of voice. When appropriate and gently held, I incorporate reflective writing and creative exploration as optional tools for self-expression. For many women, finding language for their experience — even privately on the page — can be a powerful step towards reclaiming identity and strength.

Kind Words

El

Llangollen Spoken Word

"Daisy’s spoken work evenings are nothing short of magical – always full of a beautiful variety of artists and poetry from the heart. The space is so supportive and encouraging for both established writers and those just starting out – it’s been a fantastic place for me to meet other spoken word poets, grow in confidence as a poet, get new ideas and inspiration, and experiment with reading new pieces of work. Thanks Daisy for your dedication to making this space a really special part of Llangollen’s creative community and of the north Wales poetry scene as a whole.."

Poetry Workshop

"Being part of the Poetry Workshops is a wonderful experience. Interacting with like minded people in a creative space every week is really inspirational and performing at Spoken Word is something we never thought we would do. It is so rewarding, healing, emotional and joyful. Finding places within ourselves that we can write about helps us emotionally and spiritually. Michelle is a brilliant facilitator and organiser and I highly recommend both the workshops and Spoken Word."
